Hamamatsu-shuku

Hamamatsu-shuku is the 29th post town station of the 53 stages of the Tokaido from Edo and the 25th from Kyoto. As it was the castle town of Hamamatsu Castle, it was the largest post town on the Tokaido with six honjin (Japanese inns used by feudal lords, court nobles, and officials of the shogunate for official business) and 94 inns. Unfortunately, due to the effects of war damage, only traces of the main camp and the bulletin board remain on the information board.

Hamamatsu Gyoza Stadium

Hamamatsu-shuku is one of the largest post town stations on the Tokaido. A take-out gyoza specialty store located in the commercial facility "Zaza Central Building" facing there. Whether it is a famous store or a store in the suburbs, it has collected all the gyoza that are loved by the locals, allowing you to choose from a variety of gyoza and take them home, which can be done at a single location. It is perfect as a souvenir from Hamamatsu while visiting the post town stations.
