Okitsu-shuku

There are many temples related to the Tokugawa family. Okitsu-shuku has an old-fashioned atmosphere. After the Meiji Period, the villas of the former commanders were built. It makes sense that it was famous as a "winter resort” to avoid the cold. You can feel the atmosphere of the Meiji Period when you visit Okitsu Zagyoso Memorial, which was restored in 2004.

Fushimi Taiyaki Store

Founded in 1961, this Taiyaki restaurant in Okitsu has a history of over half a century. It delivers delicious taiyaki in the hometown of red bean paste.
