You will be greeted by the sakura shrimp arch when you enter the shopping street. There is also a sakura shrimp monument at the entrance to the fishing port. Sakura shrimp appear everywhere in this town because it is known throughout Japan for its delicious sakura shrimp. There are many people who greet you kindly in Yui, which is visited by many tourists.

The Tokaido Hiroshige Museum of Art, which opened in Yui Honjin Park, the former site of the headquarters of Yui-shuku, a post town station on the Tokaido, is the first art museum in Japan named after Utagawa Hiroshige (1797-1858), an ukiyo-e artist from the Edo Period. The collection counts about 1,400 items, mainly masterpieces of landscape prints. Please come and visit our museum.
