Shizuoka City Tokaido Hiroshige Museum of Art
The Tokaido Hiroshige Museum of Art, which opened in Yui Honjin Park, the former site of the headquarters of Yui-shuku, a post town station on the Tokaido, is the first art museum in Japan named after Utagawa Hiroshige (1797-1858), an ukiyo-e artist from the Edo Period. The collection counts about 1,400 items, mainly masterpieces of landscape prints. Please come and visit our museum.
